Is my family covered?

No, but:

  • If they're in full time education, up to four dependent children can be added for free via the Medicash app.
  • Your spouse or partner can be added by contacting Medicash. There is a charge for this, which you would pay directly to Medicash via direct debit.

Can I increase my level of cover?

Yes. You can upgrade by emailing corporateaccountteam@medicash.org for further details and to request a direct debit form.

Are there any tax implications?

Yes. As it's considered a Benefit in Kind, membership is subject to tax depending on your earnings.

For a basic rate tax payer, the cost is approximately £1.65 per month and for higher rate tax payer, approximately £3.30 per month.

Am I automatically added?

Previously, all employees were added to Medicash from their full month of employment, but now, we request that you 'opt-in'.

If you are unsure whether you are a member, or would like to opt-in to the scheme, email hr@thepssg.com.

I no longer want to be a member

No problem. You can choose to cancel your cover at any time by emailing hr@thepssg.com

What happens if I leave the company?

HR will automatically end your membership, effective the end of the month that you leave.
